 Sodium Hyaluronate
The sibling of the well-known skin hydrator, hyaluronic acid (HA): sodium hyaluronate.  HA, in short, is a massive molecule that holds water, making skin plump and elastic by binding up to 1000 times its weight in water. Sodium hyaluronate and hyaluronic acid are practically the same in skincare, even if their names differ. Chemists note that sodium hyaluronate turns into hyaluronic acid and a sodium atom in a solution.
Despite claims, there's little difference in penetration due to their almost identical chemical nature. They share polymers with repeatable subunits, and high molecular weights are common. One true distinction: sodium hyaluronate is more stable, budget-friendly, and prevalent in ingredient lists.

L-Ascorbic Acid:
Boosts the skin’s own collagen production
Fades pigmentation and brown spots
If used under sunscreen, it boosts its UV protection
Extremely unstable and oxidizes very easily in the presence of light or air
Stable in solutions with water only if pH is less than 3.5 or in waterless formulations
Vit E + C work in synergy and provide superb photoprotection
Ferulic acid doubles the photoprotection effect of Vit C+E and helps to stabilize Vit C

Caprooyl Tetrapeptide-3
A synthetic peptide consisting of four amino acids mimics a natural growth factor. This growth factor amplifies the production of essential components in the dermal-epidermal junction, where the upper skin layers meet. These components include collagen VII, laminin-5, and fibronectin, which are pivotal for skin structure.

In practical terms, according to in-vivo tests by the manufacturer, Caprooyl Tetrapeptide-3 has the potential to diminish fine lines and wrinkles. In a clinical study, 27 participants used a 2.5% ChroNOline cream twice daily, a diluted trade-named version of the peptide. After 28 days, a 16% reduction in fine lines and wrinkles was observed. For mature participants (50-65 years old), improvement continued to a 27% reduction after 56 days.
