Zinc Oxide - A physical block, Zinc oxide offers total protection without the smearing effects normally associated with this ingredient.  Your skin is left silky smooth as our zinc blends in with our other co-factors to leave you with a sense of 'invisible protection.'

Panthenol
Panthenol, also known as pro-vitamin B5, is a commonly used ingredient in skincare. It serves as a precursor to vitamin B5, or pantothenic acid. Its primary role in skincare is moisturization. As a humectant, it attracts and retains water for the skin. Additionally, panthenol supports the skin's production of essential lipids, which are crucial for a robust skin barrier. Panthenol boasts anti-inflammatory and skin-protecting qualities. Research indicates it mitigates irritation caused by unfavorable elements in products, such as fragrances, preservatives, or chemical sunscreens. Further studies suggest panthenol aids wound healing by stimulating fibroblast growth; these cells contribute to collagen production, enhancing skin firmness. Panthenol's utility extends to nail and hair care. For nails, a 2% panthenol solution effectively boosts hydration. Similarly, panthenol can soften, enhance elasticity, and facilitate smoother combing in hair care.

Oenothera Biennis
Evening Primrose Oil, derived from the seeds of the small yellow-flowered plant, is rich in nurturing and moisturizing fatty acids, akin to other plant oils. It boasts a high content of linoleic acid (66-76%) and the soothing, healing fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid (GLA, 7-12%). Although borage oil is the richest GLA source, evening primrose is a notable provider. Oleic acid is also present, approximately 6-15%.

Since the 1980s, EPO has been a recognized dietary supplement studied for its oral benefits. It appears beneficial for atopic dermatitis, dry eyes, brittle nails, sunburn, and even acne. It excels as a hydrating oil for the skin, quelling inflammation and irritation. It heals dry skin not merely superficially but by instigating structural improvements. Additionally, it supports skin cell regeneration. All in all, it is a valuable resource, especially suited for dry, easily irritated skin.

Borago Officinalis (Borage) Seed Oil
Borage seed oil stands less known, possibly due to the modesty of the Borage plant's reputation. But it's one of the finest skincare oils, particularly for dry, sensitive, easily irritated, itchy, or eczema-prone skin.

Why's it exceptional? It's the prime source of vital gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which is ultra-soothing and repairing for even severely dry, irritated skin. Borage offers the most GLA (17-28%). Alongside, it contains usual fatty acids—linoleic (36%), oleic (18%), and palmitic acid (10%).
